In March 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus in partnership with the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK summoned a team of doctors based in the UK to offer medical advice and help to the UK Cypriots of the Diaspora and Cypriot nationals. Some of these doctors then became the Founding Members of the Cyprus Medical Society of the UK.
Over the last few months, a large volume of calls and emails have been dealt with. The Team has also facilitated numerous repatriations back to Cyprus. The effort is ongoing with an active telephone helpline and email.

- 0207 124 4090 – This telephone number is only for Cypriot nationals currently in the UK and can only be accessed via a UK landline or mobile. The helpline operates from 9am-9pm Monday to Sunday.
