The Cyprus Medical Society of the UK (CMS UK) and NEPOMAK UK have hosted a Q&A session with Dr Kassianos CBE discussing COVID-19 vaccines. Dr Kassianos is the UK National Immunisation Lead for the Royal College of General Practitioners and heavily involved in the implementation of immunisation services in the UK and internationally.
The session was coordinated by CMS UK Co-Presidents Savvas Hadjiphilippou and Nicolas Galazis and NEPOMAK UK President and Committee Member Constantine Alexandrou and Christina Tsangaris respectively. HE the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus in the UK, Mr Andreas Kakouris also participated and delivered the closing remarks.
A broad discussion took place answering numerous questions on Dr Kassianos’s life and particularly his work as Immunisation lead and dispelling the myths around the COVID-19 vaccines. So far over 10,000 people have viewed the event (https://fb.watch/3-eVAcZWxw/).
